Job Summary:
As the Workplace Experience & Office Manager at DBI, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our dealership running smoothly and professionally. Based in our showroom, you’ll manage daily office operations, support our internal teams, and ensure a welcoming and organized experience for clients and visitors. This is a dynamic position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced, design-forward environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Office & Administrative Management Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a professional, organized, and efficient workspace
- Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and facility needs (cleaning, maintenance, repairs)
- Maintain organization of common areas, including the kitchen, sample library, and showroom touchpoints
- Support basic IT and equipment needs; liaise with IT support when needed
Showroom Experience Responsibilities:
- Ensure showroom is maintained in top condition — clean, stocked, and client-ready at all times
- Greet and assist clients and guests upon arrival; provide a warm and professional first impression
- Coordinate refreshments, tours, and meeting room setup for client visits and internal events
- Support digital displays and presentation efforts in the showroom
Team Support & Coordination:
- Assist with internal communications and coordination between the showroom, outlet, and warehouses
- Help onboard new team members by preparing workstations, credentials, and welcome materials
- Assist with timesheet tracking, PTO schedules, and light HR support as needed
- Coordinate team meetings, lunches, and internal events
Operational Support:
- Support Purchasing, Accounting, and Project Planning as requested
- Track incoming samples, literature, and marketing collateral
- Manage mail, shipping, and deliveries (including returns and vendor pickups)
- Assist in special projects and dealership initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of administrative, office management, or operations experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor and client service mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning industry-specific software
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Interest in furniture, workplace design, or creative industries a bonus

- Ability and desire to work in-person from our Lansing showroom
